What You'll Do
Provide outstanding customer service, sharing enthusiasm for great wine and cheese.
Offer personalised wine and cheese recommendations, guiding guests through pairings and selections.
Maintain a clean, organised, and inviting bar and counter area.
Assist with wine and cheese tastings, events, and in-store experiences.
Handle service with care and attention to quality, presentation, and current alcohol regulations.
Support stock rotation and restocking to maintain freshness and consistency.
Uphold food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards at all times.
What We're Looking For
At least 1 year’s experience in a similar role preferable
Genuine interest in and excellent knowledge of wine
Relevant experience in hospitality or a vineyard
Minimum 1 year’s experience in a food and wine retail environment
HACCP and WSET training preferable but not essential
Certification as a sommelier or a degree in hospitality desirable but not essential
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Organised and calm under pressure
Available 5 over 7 days per week including late nights and weekends
