Job Description Summary
You are responsible to lead the global growth of PayPal’s Buy Now, Pay Later & Consumer products. You’ll shape the product vision, work closely with cross‑functional teams, and bring customer‑first innovation to life. We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about data‑driven decisions, market insights, and building products that truly make a difference—while ensuring profitability and strong global collaboration.
Essential Responsibilities
Establish a shared vision across the company for one or more products with a deliberate and cohesive strategy.
Lead product strategy development and create a clear, executable view of the product strategy with cross‑functional stakeholders.
Influence the architectural roadmap and balance innovative design and technical implementation while meeting regulatory requirements, time‑to‑market, customer needs, and product profitability.
Championship of the customer experience and prioritization of customer needs in product requirements and decision making.
Define and use metrics that inform the success of products including usability studies, research and market analysis.
Standardize workstreams to include analytics, customer discovery, market research and competitive analysis to drive data‑driven decision‑making.
Take responsibility for product profitability, including budgetary decisions.
Lead operational mechanisms that drive execution and accountability including Product Reviews, Operating Reviews and Business Reviews; interface with senior leadership as needed.
Lead a cross‑function team, partnering with global partners including content strategists, data scientists, product designers and user experience researchers.
Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the standard.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 15 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 3 years of management experience.
Additional Responsibilities And Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Payments, FinTech, Banking.
Experience working with Partnerships like schemes (Visa, Mastercard, Banks, PSPs).
Experience with Consumer as well as Merchant/Business Facing Products.
Experience in building and scaling platforms to accelerate growth.
Experience in forming and leading high‑performing teams.
