**Job Title:** Corporate Governance Manager
Job Description:
Reporting to the Head of Legal Affairs, this role plays a key part in ensuring that our organization operates with high standards of governance, accountability and transparency. We are seeking an experienced professional to lead on corporate governance matters.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the development and implementation of corporate governance policies and procedures aligned with best practice.
2. Monitor compliance with relevant legislation including Human Rights and Equality Public Sector Duty, Official Languages Act and Accessibility legislation.
3. Promote a culture of good governance through training guidance awareness-raising activities Liaise Department Health other relevant bodies on governance matters Represent at external forums working groups required Provide input cross-organisational projects initiatives Lead strategic planning Annual Service Plans Manage secretariat support PSI Council Committees follow-up agreed actions Ensure effective processes place for Council appointments induction performance evaluation Manage training development days address identified learning needs Lead information governance framework ensure secure compliant data assets Comply GDPR Data Protection Act Freedom Information FOI requirements As DPO act organizations managing data protection breaches subject access requests Freedom Officer ensure FIO processed statutory timeframes Best practices records management quality security delivered staff throughout organisation Contribution digital transformation embedded project consideration-assembly.
