We are seeking a dynamic, reliable, and customer-focused Gunstore Retail Assistant to join our team. This role is central to delivering a safe, professional, and welcoming shopping experience for all customers. The successful candidate will be approachable, adaptable, and confident working in a team-oriented retail environment where attention to detail and security awareness are essential.

Key Responsibilities
* Greet and engage customers in a friendly and professional manner, creating a welcoming store environment
* Respond to customer enquiries and provide accurate product information
* Locate and present requested items efficiently
* Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
* Maintain organisation, cleanliness, and stock control in the stock room
* Ensure shelves and displays are neat, well-stocked, and visually appealing
* Escalate customer concerns or complex issues to the Gunstore Lead or Retail Manager when required
* Maintain a high level of security awareness at all times, following store policies and procedures
* Participate in stocktakes
* Support other departments, including assisting in the café, as needed
Skills & Qualifications
* Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional, and approachable manner
* Strong communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude
* Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
* Confidence in handling challenging customer interactions professionally
* Flexible and reliable
* High level of attention to detail, particularly regarding security and stock handling
* Previous retail experience is an advantage but not essential — full training will be provided
