Our scale and knowledge, combined with our experience across the technology sector, enables us to continue to innovate and deliver market leading services for our partners.Position Summary:To manage and ensure supply of stock in the most cost-effective way, including transfer of current parts and managing of 50+ consumer brandsKey Responsibilities:Responsible for the effective coordination of the material planning, purchasing and production scheduling function and ensuring timely delivery to customers of finished productsBe able to establish and maintain strong working relationships with existing and new suppliersWork with relevant procurement teams and/or suppliers to expedite shortages and urgent shipmentsCommunicate regularly with vendors and provide reports to customers as requiredWork to reduce / eliminate any potential Excess and Obsolete materialReview impact of Engineering Change and/or Deviations to current supplyDevelop and implement a cost reduction programEnsure that control, recording systems and procedures fully meet our client's requirementsEnsure timely escalation and elimination of roadblocksProvide regular updates to internal and external customers, including visits to the customer siteView and process Purchase Requisitions and SAP Purchase Orders while implementing strategies, policies & procedures.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:1-2 Years vendor management expertiseExtensive knowledge of MRP and SAPExtensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc.APICS/IIPMM or equivalent (will be an advantage)Be proactive & results drivenDemonstrate a strong record of contract negotiation & ability to negotiate with vendors for maximum benefit.Must have strong communications skills & have excellent interpersonal skills and work with different functions within the organisationTeam player with the ability to work well in a pressurised environment to demanding objectivesAble to work under their own initiative and make sound commercial decisions.Job Type: Full-timePay: €40,000.00-€45,000.00 per yearBenefits:Bike to work schemeCompany pensionEmployee assistance programOn-site parkingWork from homeExperience:Vendor management: 2 years (preferred)Work authorisation:Ireland (required)Work Location: Hybrid remote in Co Dublin, CO.
