Overview:
Join a dynamic team at for a 12-month onsite contract supporting the transfer of an innovative biologics lyophilized product. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in bringing cutting-edge therapies to clinical trials. You'll collaborate with global experts, lead critical technical activities, and help shape the future of pharmaceutical manufacturing. Responsibilities:
* Support the development and transfer of manufacturing processes for new biologic products.
* Provide technical input and troubleshoot issues during process execution.
* Conduct gap analyses, facility fit, and risk assessments (e.g., PFMEA, EHS) for NPI projects.
* Monitor and analyse process data to ensure consistency and quality.
* Prepare and update technical documentation, including batch records, protocols, and specifications.
* Collaborate with global teams on product and process development.
* Lead or support investigations, change controls, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Train and supervise operations personnel on NPI processes and procedures.
* Ensure full compliance with cGMP, EHS, and regulatory requirements.
* Contribute to cost improvement projects, cross-functional initiatives, and team development.
* Promote a culture of Right First Time, quality, and safety across all activities.
Requirements:
* Degree in engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, or related technical field (Master’s preferred).
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical or biologics manufacturing, with exposure to batch processing, scale-up, and tech transfers.
* Strong technical knowledge of lyophilization and fill-finish unit operations.
* Experience in NPI and commercial product introduction preferred.
* Proven problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills under pressure.
* High attention to detail with a focus on quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.
* Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and lead cross-functional teams.
* Familiarity with EHS policies and ability to model best safety practices.
* Commitment to team development, talent management, and operational excellence.
