OverviewJunior Associate Director, IT, Application Manager – Dublin, Ireland.We are seeking a Junior Associate Director, IT, Application Manager to join our dynamic team in Dublin, Ireland.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a team of IT professionals responsible for application support and maintenance.Manage and resolve reported incidents, investigate root causes, and escalate issues as needed to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.Develop and implement strategies for application lifecycle management, including upgrades, patches, and enhancements, ensuring quality standards before production deployment.Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Monitor application performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and user experience.Facilitate data integration between different financial systems and ensure seamless data exchange to support various business processes.Manage vendor relationships related to software applications for both in-house and vendor applications.Develop and maintain documentation for application processes, procedures, and configurations.Implement best practices for application security and compliance in adherence to standards to protect sensitive financial data.Undertake regular review of application performance, issues, and recommend improvements.Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field3-5 years of experience in IT application managementStrong knowledge of enterprise software applications and their managementProficiency in IT service management principles and practicesExperience with cloud computing platforms and their integration with on-premises systemsExcellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detailExceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersDemonstrated leadership experience in managing and mentoring IT professionalsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing prioritiesStrong commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with emerging technologiesPreferredKnowledge of System Development Lifecycle and standard software development methodologies including ITIL standardsAn understanding of Microsoft Windows Server environments, SQL Server, Microsoft IIS and AWSSQL query development and SQL Server Reporting Services development experience will be an advantageKnowledge of business continuity and disaster recovery principles to ensure application availability during unexpected eventsAdditional InformationWhat’s in it for you to join MUFG Investor Services?
