This role offers the opportunity to manage specific elements of Estate operations building and engineering maintenance teams.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and manage directly employed trade staff and external contractors on maintenance and servicing duties, including Building, mechanical, electrical works.
* Promote innovative solutions for continually recurring problems.
* Issue and control daily work allocation to directly employed labour and external sub-contractors through the departments CAFM Systems.
* Keep electronic records of work allocated, including date, location, details and outcomes.
* Plan maintenance programmes for building & engineering services.
Key requirements include:
* A recognised and registered building/construction apprenticeship NQF Level 3/BTEC Higher National Diploma/Higher National Certificate or equivalent in a building/construction or other related subject.
* Minimum of 3 years' relevant post apprenticeship experience.
* Working knowledge and experience of undertaking tasks relating to building and engineering.
* Use of Microsoft Office and CAFM System.
