Technical Consultant Sales: Cranial Spine - Dublin Duration: 12 Months Location: Remote role, reporting to Dublin office Industry:Medical Devices An exciting position has arisen to support the service and sales of the Cranial Spine portfolio that includes spinal & Cranial navigation, imaging, robotics and technical equipment support as a Technical Consultant.
You will have responsibility for technical and clinical implant & equipment support in operating theatres, training of theatre staff and inventory management.
You will work in tandem with an experienced team of Therapy Sales Specialists & Technical Consultants, and you will have district coverage.
You will develop strong relationships with customers, providing onsite technical support, liaising between customers and cross-functional internal teams.
Responsibilities Provides clinical and technical support to the clinical team in theatres for cranial & spine cases.
Responsible for territory case coverage and support of intraoperative sales.
Provides troubleshooting support to field sales force and customers.
Participates in the development of employee and customer training/education programs.
Participates in and supports regional events such as Congresses or Customer Events.
Ensures inventory is maintained at its optimal level as per guidelines.
Identify ways to impact at scale and deliver outcomes with the highest standard of patient safety, quality, and ethics.
Supports marketing and sales in the introduction and market release of new products.
Lead generation for new sales and Large Capital equipment support / breakfix.
Role Requirements: Degree in Engineering, Radiography, Life-science, Business, Biology, Physiotherapy, Nursing, or another relevant, advanced degree.
Experience in the medical (device) industry or in a hospital operating room environment.
Ability to operate in a matrix environment and work effectively with sales team, physicians, nurses, and hospital technicians.
Demonstrated ability to work independently on projects/duties as well as contributing to a larger team.
Ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule, travel and weekend support are required.
