Sous Chef Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team in Cork. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading a talented kitchen team, maintaining high culinary standards, and ensuring smooth day-to-day kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, food preparation, and service.
* Lead and motivate the team during busy service periods.
* Oversight of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
* Maintenance of excellent hygiene and HACCP standards.
* Collaboration on seasonal menu development and specials.
* Monitoring of kitchen stock and supplier orders efficiently.
Requirements:
* 2-3 years' experience in a similar Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie role.
* Strong culinary skills and genuine passion for food.
* Leadership ability with a calm, hands-on approach.
* Knowledge of HACCP and kitchen health & safety standards.
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong team ethic.
