The Quantity Surveyor will work within the Power division focusing on the day-to-day commercial activities of ongoing projects.
Need to Have
* Valid work authorisation for Ireland
* Qualification in Quantity Surveying or related field.
* The ideal candidate will demonstrate a successful career history with a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office is essential, including Advanced Excel.
* Knowledge of current construction legislation.
* Experience with FIDIC forms of Contract.
Need to Do
* Cashflow forecasting.
* Tracking live costs in line with budget forecasts.
* Contract administration (FIDIC yellow book).
* Procurement & supply chain management.
* Regular commercial reporting.
* Payment applications through to final account.
* Agree BoQs and variations with clients.
* Support project teams commercially.
Need to Be
* Strong communicator with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
* Must take ownership for tasks and responsibilities.
* Able to operate in a dynamic and fast paced organisation.
* Detailed orientated with proven organisational ability.
* Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Willing to travel when required.
