Event Support Specialist Role
The EMEA Event Productions team is seeking a multi-disciplinary events support specialist whose primary focus will be to deliver exceptional customer experience with technical event requirements, filming, and studio productions. A successful candidate will be an effective communicator who can handle multiple events from beginning to end under tight and evolving deadlines. They can work independently with little supervision and collaborate with internal teams to drive results.
The role requires the ability to find solutions for basic to complex problems, implement new and challenging standards while maintaining the highest level of quality and technical expertise. Key responsibilities include working with customers on technical event delivery, setting up and de-rigging equipment, directing event operations, developing event/AV standards, operating autonomously, leading, training, and overseeing vendor personnel when required.
* Work effectively and productively with Event team members and all levels of the organization.
* Report any problems that arise with complex equipment and make repairs as able.
* Promptly report all needed equipment repairs and ensure preventive maintenance is performed.
* Raise the bar for customers by searching out opportunities to evolve services and help others improve their skillsets and processes.
A successful candidate will have 2+ years of event experience with video/audio and lighting equipment, experience in livestream or live broadcast operations, videography or camera operation, vision/audio mixing, excellent customer service skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred qualifications include experience on a studio set, a Bachelor's degree in film, media, production, marketing, or equivalent work experience, and proficiency with MacOS and WindowsOS, Microsoft Outlook, and MS Office Suite.
