A snapshot of your key responsibilities:

Platform Administration & Configuration:


* Support and develop the configuration, optimisation, and day-to-day administration of Microsoft Teams.
* Monitor Teams service health and usage trends, proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure a secure, stable, and well-governed environment.
* Use PowerShell and Teams Admin Centre to perform advanced administrative tasks, reporting, and policy enforcement.
* Ensure all Teams configurations align with Departmental security, compliance, and identity management frameworks.

Service security, Compliance, and Governance management:

* Apply Microsoft Teams governance best practices to ensure the platform is structured, secure, and aligned with Departmental policies.
* Collaboration with other units, configure and maintain compliance features such as sensitivity labels, and audit logging.
* Support the implementation of access controls, restrictions, conditional access policies, and role-based permissions.
* Monitor Teams usage for policy violations or anomalies and escalate risks or incidents in line with internal procedures.
* Maintain documentation of governance decisions, configurations, and compliance controls to support audits and internal reviews.
* Provide input into risk assessments and contribute to the development of secure collaboration practices across the Teams environment.

Operational Support & Troubleshooting:

* Provide support for escalated Microsoft Teams-related incidents and service requests, escalating to other support channels as needed.
* Investigate and resolve complex technical issues related to Teams functionality, configuration, and user experience.
* Analyse service logs, usage reports, and diagnostic data to identify root causes and recommend improvements.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent service delivery and alignment with broader support processes.

User Enablement & Change Management:

* Develop and deliver user enablement strategies that promote effective and consistent use of Microsoft Teams.
* Involvement in problem and change management processes.
* Working with the technical teams to facilitate successful testing
* Collaboration with other units to encourage behavioural change across the department promoting transition from email-centric workflows to collaborative Teams-based practices.
* Provide comprehensive technical mentoring, knowledge sharing and documentation to internal staff.
* Maintain and update accessible user-facing documentation, FAQs, and self-help material.

Integration & Automation:

* Develop automation solutions using PowerShell, Power Automate and other applicable tools to streamline administrative processes and improve service efficiency.
* Configure and support the integration of Teams with other Microsoft 365 services as required.
* Ensure integration activities are aligned with implemented policies and coordinated with relevant IT units.

Requirements:

* 7+ years in a Microsoft 365 administration capacity with a minimum of 5 years focused on MS Teams.
* Must have the following certification: MS-700, MS-102 and SC-300
* Management, administration and support of M365 with specific focus on MS Teams, particularly in the areas of:
* Service Management
* Account Management
* Policy Management
* Capacity Management
* Technical Management
* Security Management
* Device Management
* Application Management
* Compliance / Governance
* Documentation
* Service Administration
* Service Support
* Problem / Change Management
* Collaboration / Knowledge Transfer
* Client / Server Configuration

Opportunity type: Initial 6-month contract (with possibility of extension, 2-year project), Hybrid in Dublin
