Red Chair Recruitment are presently recruiting an Accounts Administrator for a busy professional services company in Castleisland, County Kerry. Supporting the company accountants, you will be first point of contact with company clients and will offer support in a raft of duties from invoicing to VAT returns and payroll along with assisting in financial records, perform reconciliations and ensuring client compliance. This is a full‑time position, based in Office in Castleisland, County Kerry.
Job Specification: Accounts Assistant
* Support senior accountants with bookkeeping, VAT returns, and Invoice preparation.
* Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software.
* Process invoices, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
* Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and year‑end financial statements.
* Communicate with clients regarding queries and required documentation.
* Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and internal procedures.
* Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable.
* Prepare and submit payroll information.
* Liaise with colleagues and external stakeholders in a professional manner.
* Maintain confidentiality and data accuracy at all times.
Qualifications and experience:
* Prior experience in a professional services environment is highly desired.
* AAT qualified or working towards a relevant accounting qualification.
* Ability to use Microsoft productivity software such as Excel and Word.
* Excellent attention to detail.
Salary is open to negotiation and based on experience and in the region of €30 – 35,000.
