Operations Manager
to support the General Manager and ensure exceptional standards across all departments.
About the Role:
As Operations Manager, you'll be at the heart of our hotel's operations, ensuring high standards of service, smooth day-to-day management, and the seamless execution of policies and procedures. You'll be a key part of our leadership team, deputising for the GM when needed and inspiring our teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and support all hotel departments to meet operational goals and maintain high standards.
* Deputise for the General Manager in their absence and implement hotel budgets.
* Ensure guest needs are anticipated and exceeded, handling any complaints professionally.
* Oversee staff training, inductions, and ongoing development programs.
* Drive sales and implement upselling procedures across Food & Beverage, Restaurant, Bar, and Reception.
* Maintain strict adherence to Health & Safety, GDPR, hygiene, and company policies.
* Manage departmental reporting, stock control, wage budgets, and financial procedures.
* Promote team morale through initiatives, communication, and leadership.
* Ensure all hotel systems (Opera, Micros, TMS) are up to date and operating efficiently.
* Attend management meetings, support recruitment, and act as a key point of contact for staff.
