Temple Recruitment is looking for HGV Mechanics for one of our clients in Navan.
HGV MECHANIC
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Overhaul of transmission, axle and driveline products
2. Maintain, repair and service of HGV PSV & O/H Vehicles
3. Chassis diagnostics and repair both in house and off-site
4. Ability to work to OEM standard guide times
5. To adhere to correct working procedures
6. To complete all job related paperwork in line with company procedures
7. To participate in training and development programmes as required by the company
8. To undertake any other duties or activities as required
9. Role Requirements
Must have completed recognised Mechanical apprenticeship, post apprenticeship experience an advantage but not essential
10. Computer literate
11. Experience in electrics and computer based diagnostics work is very preferential
12. Full clean driving licence
13. Fluent in English, both spoken and written
14. Strong attention to detail, ability to work without supervision, using your own initiative or within a team and ability to work accurately and efficiently under challenging time constraints
15. Reliable
16. Ability to travel to sites throughout the country including Northern Ireland
17. Previous experience on HGV, PSV & O/H chassis a distinct advantage
18. HGV/PSV licence an advantage
