Based alongside Angle Edge Protection, it serves a wide variety of industrial sectors, supporting packaging and manufacturing operations with durable and reliable core solutions.We are seeking a General Operative to join our team.Role:As a General Operative at Tritex Core, you will be responsible for packing and monitoring of paper/cardboard cores in an efficient and safe way while maintaining high standards of quality and adherence to company procedures. Pallet wrapping and strapping finished goods where needed.Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machines (cleaning, adjusting, minor troubleshooting) to prevent breakdowns and reduce downtime.Conduct quality checks on finished cores (visual inspection, measurements, checking against specification) and identify any defects or non-conforming products.Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area; follow all health & safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).Report any machine malfunctions, safety hazards, quality issues or deviations from procedure to supervision immediately.Work as part of a team and cooperate with other staff to meet production targets and maintain operational efficiency.Experience/SkillsPrevious experience in a manufacturing or production environmentGood attention to detail and commitment to quality — to ensure finished products meet required standards.Awareness of and commitment to health & safety practices (use of PPE, safe handling of machinery/materials).Must be self-motivated and able to work on their own and/or with little supervision.Language:English (required)Work authorisation:Ireland (required)Job Type: Full-timePay: €14.15 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:Bike to work schemeCompany pensionOn-site parkingWork Location: In person
