Operational / Office Manager
to play a pivotal role in the day-to-day running of the business. (5 Day's on Site)
Reporting directly to the
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
and working closely with the leadership team this is a senior, hands-on role overseeing operations across all departments and ensuring the business runs efficiently, compliantly, and cohesively.
The Role
The Operational / Office Manager will be responsible for the smooth operation of the business, acting as a central point of coordination between departments and senior leadership. This role requires strong organisational skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to balance strategic oversight with practical execution.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the business across all departments
* Act as a key support to the Leadership assisting with planning, coordination, and execution of business priorities
* Report to and work closely with the CFO on operational, financial, and reporting matters
* Manage office operations, policies, procedures, and systems to ensure efficiency and consistency
* Coordinate workflows and communication between departments
* Support HR and people management processes, including onboarding, policies, and compliance
* Oversee suppliers, contracts, facilities, and general administration
* Assist with budgeting, cost control, and operational reporting
* Identify and implement process improvements to support growth and scalability
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, health & safety, and internal governance standards
Ideal Candidate
* 6+ experience in an Office Manager, Operations Manager, or similar senior administrative role
* Experience working closely with senior leadership in a small to medium-sized business
* Strong organisational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
* Commercially minded with excellent attention to detail
* Confident managing multiple priorities across departments
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Proactive, trustworthy, and comfortable working in a family business environment
* Excellent IT and systems skills
* Business Degree
