Trade Counter Sales Assistant
Job description
We currently have a Full Time vacancy in our busy Builders Providers trade counter for a candidate with experience in sales of any of the following – builders materials, plumbing, electrical. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and should be extremely customer focused.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Provide the highest level of customer service and act in a professional manner at all times
* Ensuring all customers are served in a quick and efficient manner
* Build excellent customer relationship
* Responsible for operating and maintaining a clean and tidy counter and shop floor while keeping a safe and secure working environment
* Organise and pack away goods and general shop activity
* Assist in stock checks
Ideal Candidate
* Experience in a Builders Providers preferable but not essential
* Manual Handling certified preferable
* Must be a strong communicator, and have excellent listening and interpersonal skills
* Adaptable to Change & Flexibility – Must have a flexible approach to work, are open and accepting of necessary change and innovation within the company
* Attention to Detail / Organised - You can prioritise and organise your own work, complete all necessary tasks and fulfil all commitments on time and without supervision
* Honest & Ethical – Valuing integrity and honesty as a core personal value
