A well-established healthcare services provider with more than 30 years' experience is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to join its Irish operation. The organisation delivers specialist respiratory care and home-based therapy solutions to over 10,000 patients nationwide across both public and private healthcare settings.
Services supported include home oxygen, nebuliser therapy, ventilation and sleep-related treatments. Field teams include healthcare technicians and patient support specialists who manage installation, training, servicing and patient support across Ireland.
With a workforce of approximately 120 employees locally, the organisation places patient safety, service quality and staff development at the centre of its culture.
The Role
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Senior HR Business Partner will act as the lead HR generalist in Ireland and a trusted adviser to senior leadership. The position covers operational and strategic HR activity, supporting managers across the full employee lifecycle while also contributing to workforce planning and performance reporting.
This role is based in Blanchardstown with regular travel to sites nationwide.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with the executive team to translate business objectives into practical workforce and HR plans with measurable KPIs
Advise leadership on organisational design, role clarity and future staffing needs
Lead succession planning and talent mapping activity
Facilitate talent reviews and development planning for critical and high-potential roles
Develop and update HR policies and the employee handbook in line with Irish employment law
Support and guide managers on employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, performance, redundancy and absence processes
Act as a central contact for employee relations and people queries
Support engagement and culture initiatives that encourage inclusion, accountability and performance
Oversee core employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, probation reviews and exit interviews
Produce and analyse monthly HR metrics and workforce reports, turning data into practical recommendations
Work closely with talent acquisition partners on hiring, development and retention initiatives
Support payroll and HR systems administration and data accuracy
Candidate Profile
Minimum five years' experience in a senior or standalone HR role
CIPD or equivalent HR qualification required
Strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation and HR best practice
Comfortable advising senior managers and handling complex employee relations cases
Experience contributing to workforce metrics and reporting
Confident communicator with sound judgement and discretion
Able to work independently while contributing to a wider team environment
