OverviewOur client is seeking a Process Safety Expert to support manufacturing sites in Cork with the day-to-day implementation of their process safety program. The role also contributes to a Life Science Process Safety Center of Excellence, helping implement corporate process safety governance across the business.ResponsibilitiesDevelop compliance programs and site operating plans to meet process safety requirementsMaintain and track process safety actionsSupport CapEx projects with process safety deliverables, including HAZOP reviews and pre-startup safety reviewsFacilitate process hazard analyses and coordinate consequence modellingProvide expertise in areas such as risk assessment, chemical reactivity, fire protection systems, and mechanical integrityRequirementsBachelor's degree in health and safety or engineering7+ years' experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, preferably chemical or pharmaceuticalExperience implementing process safety programs and leading HAZOP studies and other hazard analysesKnowledge of Irish and EU process safety legislation including Seveso III, COMAH, and ATEXIf you are interested please send your cv to jbarron@berkley-group.com
