Process Engineer–NPI - Ireland, Carlow - 11 Month Contract

When it comes to the development and production of veterinary vaccines, our pharmaceutical client has the largest centre in the industry worldwide and is a Centre of Excellence; employing more than 1000 people. They are looking to add to their team and require a Process Engineer–NPI.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. The new team member will serve as technical support for new product introduction (NPI) and commercial manufacturing and will participate and/or lead cross functional or single function teams including liaising with vendors or above site groups.
2. They will typically have prior related work experience; ideally in manufacturing, preferably GMP Setting but we will consider applicants from other working environments as long as they have technology transfer experience.
3. Design/Author/Review/Approve/Execute qualification/validation documentation and process development studies in line with the standard approval process.
4. Perform root cause analysis of system failures, substandard performance, using standard tools and methods, to resolve machine and system issues.
Desirable Experience:
1. Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred; ideally in a Science, Engineering, or other technical discipline.
2. Requires extensive experience ideally in manufacturing, preferably GMP Setting.
3. Knowledge of process monitoring systems, automation systems (DeltaV), operational intelligence & data systems (Pi System) within a GMP manufacturing environment would be beneficial and desirable but not a necessity.
4. Equipment and process validation.
5. Sterile filling processes and equipment.
