Overview
eir evo talent are currently inviting applications for a QA Tester role. This is a 12 month contract position. The role is based in Dublin and operates on a hybrid working model (2 days a week onsite).
We are seeking a detail-oriented UA Tester to support system testing activities across web and mobile applications. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of testing standards and best practices, with at least experience in QA or UAT testing.
This role involves working closely with business analysts, developers, and project teams to ensure system changes meet business requirements and are delivered to a high quality standard.
Key Responsibilities
Review system specifications and develop test scripts based on defined changes
Maintain and update User Acceptance Test (UAT) scripts
Identify and prepare test data
Participate in UAT, integration, and regression testing
Execute test scripts across web and mobile applications
Analyse and document test results
Use Azure DevOps for test management, defect tracking, and reporting
Log, track, and manage defects through to resolution
Collaborate with Business Analysts to clarify and analyse complex requirements
Escalate issues and provide updates to the Test Lead
Change Management
Support system deployments by performing smoke testing at go-live
Work closely with project teams to identify, retest, and resolve deployment issues
Additional Responsibilities
Document system updates in user guides and release notes
Provide training and support to end users
Perform data cleansing activities as required
Support user access management and helpdesk-related tasks
Conduct quality checks and audits
Contribute to process improvement and documentation
Produce ad hoc and monthly reports and analysis
Key Skills & Experience
Minimum 1 year experience in QA or UAT testing
Familiarity with testing methodologies and best practices
Experience using Azure DevOps (or similar tools)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
