This role ensures that all vehicles are maintained to the highest standards of safety, compliance, and operational readiness, while also managing the administrative functions associated with fleet operations.Key Responsibilities:Aviation Airside Fleet ManagementOversee compliance with all inspection, maintenance, and statutory certification requirements for airside vehicles (circa 50 vehicles).Ensure compliance with aviation and airside operational standards and regulations.Manage cleaning schedules and ensure vehicles meet hygiene and presentation standards.Liaise with airside operations teams to ensure vehicle availability and readiness.Maintain accurate records of inspections, servicing, and certifications.Road Fleet AdministrationManage the day-to-day administration of the OCS road fleet (circa 160 vehicles).Coordinate vehicle allocation, usage tracking, and mileage reporting.Mange relationship and day-to-day dealings with fleet service provider companies.Monitor fuel usage and implement cost-saving initiatives.Monitor compliance with road safety legislation and company policies.General Fleet OversightDevelop and maintain fleet policies and procedures.Manage relationships with external service providers (e.g., maintenance, leasing, fuel & toll suppliers).Monitor fleet performance metrics and report to senior management.Support sustainability initiatives, including transition to low-emission vehicles where applicable.Lead incident investigations involving fleet vehicles and implement corrective actions.Qualifications & Experience:Proven experience in fleet management, preferably in both aviation and road transport environments beneficial.Knowledge of vehicle maintenance, statutory certification, and compliance requirements beneficial.Excellent administrative and organisational skills.Familiarity with fleet management software and reporting tools.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Full clean driving license.Desirable Attributes:Experience working in a regulated environment (e.g., aviation, logistics).Knowledge of airside operations and safety protocols.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.How to Apply:If you are interested in joining a business that encourages professional development, career progression and the chance to work with inspirational people then please click apply and register your interest You can also sign up to our job alerts when registering which will notify you when other suitable vacancies are available.We are an equal opportunities employer and rely on a diverse workforce with a broad range of knowledge, skills, and backgrounds to deliver our goals.
