Cork is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic
Equine Veterinarian
to join their dedicated team on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Role
This position offers a diverse and rewarding caseload, with a strong emphasis on
reproductive medicine, stud work, and seasonal breeding programmes
, alongside a wide range of general equine ambulatory responsibilities.
The role will suit someone with a passion for delivering high-quality veterinary care and building strong client relationships.
Someone with a keen interest in Imaging and lameness is desired.
Key Responsibilities
Routine and emergency ambulatory equine work for thoroughbred and sport-horse clients
Reproductive scanning and AI (fresh, chilled, and frozen)
Foal and neonatal care, including emergency medicine
Lameness examinations (nerve blocks, diagnostic imaging)
Endoscopy and upper airway evaluations
Pre-purchase examinations, including full x-ray sets

Requirements
Degree in Veterinary Medicine and VCI registration (or eligibility)
Minimum of 3 years' equine experience, ideally with a background in reproduction/stud medicine
Competence in ultrasonography, endoscopy, and digital radiography
Ability to independently conduct lameness examinations
Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented approach
Full driving licence
