Assistant Quantity Surveyor Role Overview
The role involves working with a Tier 1 Contractor in Dublin on commercial and residential projects. This project-facing position provides exposure to live cost management.
Main Responsibilities:
* Commercial Support & Cost Control
o Assist in preparing monthly valuations, cost reports, and financial forecasts.
* Maintaining accurate records of variations, instructions, and commercial correspondence.
Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics (or close to completion). 2–4+ years' experience with a contractor or PQS. Exposure to live construction projects is also required. Strong numerical skills are necessary for this role along with strong organisational skills. IT skills are essential as the use of technology plays an important part within this industry. Ambition and keenness to take responsibility will make you suitable for this Assistant Quantity Surveyor post.
