Job Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Head of Global Sales to lead and expand
our sales efforts across the contract medical and industrial manufacturing sectors.
The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of driving revenue growth,
developing key customer relationships, and leading a high-performing sales function
within a technical or engineering-led environment. This is a critical leadership role
within a growing business focused on delivering high-quality, engineered solutions to
regulated industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Sales Leadership
• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company
growth objectives and sector focus.
• Identify and target new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets
within the medical device and industrial engineering sectors.
• Translate market trends and customer insights into actionable sales plans and
value propositions.
Customer Relationship Management
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts, OEMs,
and contract manufacturing customers.
• Act as a senior point of contact for strategic customers, ensuring customer
satisfaction, retention, and repeat business.
Team Leadership & Performance
• Lead and mentor a small sales/business development team.
• Set and monitor KPIs, targets, and sales pipelines, ensuring accountability and
performance against goals.
• Champion cross-functional collaboration with operations, engineering, and
quality teams to ensure seamless project delivery and customer experience.
Bid & Contract Management
• Oversee the preparation and negotiation of commercial proposals, contracts,
and pricing agreements.
• Ensure all quotations reflect a clear understanding of technical requirements,
cost structures, and margin objectives.
Market Development & Branding
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings
to promote brand awareness.
• Contribute to marketing and promotional efforts including website content, case
studies, and customer engagement tools.
Reporting & Analysis
• Deliver regular sales forecasts, pipeline reviews, and market analysis to senior
leadership.
• Use data and CRM tools to support decision-making and drive continuous
improvement in sales processes.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Minimum of 8+ years' experience in technical sales or business development,
preferably within contract manufacturing or engineering services.
• Proven experience selling into medical device, life sciences, or regulated
industrial sectors.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, engineering capabilities,
and quality/regulatory expectations (e.g., ISO 13485, AS9100, ISO 9001).
• Demonstrated success in growing revenue, securing new business, and
managing strategic accounts.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Experience using CRM platforms and preparing sales performance reports.
• Engineering, science, or business-related degree (or equivalent experience)
preferred.
