SUMMARY OF ROLE: We are currently recruiting for a Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) for our client, a market leader in its core material category within the construction sector. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Chief Commercial Officer will have overall responsibility for the commercial strategy and performance of the group, including sales leadership, marketing strategy, business development and key customer relationships. The role will align all customer-facing functions of the organization to drive revenue growth, market expansion and improved commercial performance across the business. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the commercial direction of the group, contributing to strategic planning, expansion initiatives and the evaluation of potential acquisitions. The role will contribute directly to executive decision-making and the long-term growth strategy of the organization. This is a senior executive leadership position offering the opportunity to influence the long-term development of the business within a growing industrial group. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead and develop the national sales strategy; Deliver revenue growth and margin improvement; Support strategic expansion initiatives; Assist with evaluation and integration of potential acquisitions; Contribute to the long-term commercial strategy of the group. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: Minimum five years experience in a comparable senior commercial role; Experience in construction materials, engineering products or related sectors; Strategic leadership capability; Proven ability to grow revenue and lead teams; Relevant third-level qualification or equivalent commercial experience. RATE OF PAY: A competitive salary commensurate with experience, plus expenses and pension contributions and participation in the Groups long-term incentive scheme.
