It will suit an engineer who enjoys working close to hardware, solving real technical problems, and owning test execution end-to-end.What you'll be doingBuild, configure, and commission HVAC test rigs based on engineering test plansExecute R&D testing on DX systems, chilled water systems, and refrigerant-based cooling solutionsInstall and manage instrumentation (temperature, pressure, flow, power, etc.)Troubleshoot mechanical, refrigeration, and system-level issues during testingEnsure tests are run safely, consistently, and with repeatable resultsManage data logging and deliver clear, structured test results to engineering teamsSupport commissioning of new lab equipment and capability upgradesCoordinate and guide technicians and contractors in the lab environmentWhat we're looking forStrong hands-on experience with HVAC and refrigeration systemsExperience working in an R&D, test, or development lab environmentPractical knowledge of instrumentation, measurement accuracy, and test repeatabilityComfortable diagnosing complex thermal, mechanical, and system-level issuesExperience supervising or guiding technicians or contractorsBackground that fits wellMechanical EngineeringBuilding Services / Energy EngineeringRefrigeration or Thermal EngineeringSimilar engineering discipline with strong HVAC exposure
