Location: Remote based in Ireland, UK or France, with regular travel (including to O'Neills offices and partner locations internationally)
Role Overview
The Pro Sport Account Manager will focus on the delivery of O'Neills partnerships with professional sports organisations, ensuring commitments are met in full and that commercial opportunities are maximised for both O'Neills and its partners. This role requires strong account management skills, excellent organisational abilities, and a proactive approach to client and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
Partnership Delivery
* Manage the day-to-day delivery of kit supply partnerships with professional sports teams across international markets.
* Ensure all obligations to partner clubs are met in full, maintaining high standards of quality and service.
* Work closely with internal teams (e.g., design, manufacturing, logistics) to ensure timely and efficient delivery of all partnership commitments.
* Maintain detailed records and tracking systems to monitor project progress and address any challenges.
Client and Stakeholder Management
* Act as a primary point of contact for assigned partners, building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
* Manage partner expectations effectively, ensuring open and regular communication.
* Collaborate with partners to identify and execute opportunities that maximise the commercial benefits of the partnership for both parties.
Operational Support
* Work within established account management frameworks and critical pathways to ensure timely delivery of all projects.
* Proactively identify potential challenges and work with the Account Lead to resolve issues efficiently.
* Utilise tools such as Excel and Gantt charts to manage timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
* Collaborate with partners to understand their goals and objectives, identifying opportunities to grow the partnership’s value.
* Work alongside the commercial and marketing teams to align partnership activation with broader business objectives.
Required Skills and Experience
* Account Management Expertise: Proven experience in managing partnerships within professional sports or related industries.
* Organisational Abilities: Strong skills in managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines.
* Technical Proficiency: High-level competence in Excel and Gantt chart creation to track and deliver projects.
* Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with a focus on managing stakeholder relationships effectively.
* Proactive Problem-Solving: Ability to anticipate challenges and work collaboratively to address them.
* Experience working with international markets.
* Background in sportswear or related industries.
* Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana, Monday.com).
* Understanding of production and logistics in a manufacturing context.
