Electrical Design Engineer Position
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to provide technical electrical design support for new Process Area CAPEX projects, assist with small projects, and operate on site.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and maintaining LV (e.g., Lighting, General Services, UPS, Protection Settings incl. Arc Flash) and ELV (e.g., Fire Alarm, Data points, Building Automation) systems.
1. Designing electrical systems infrastructure, including LV and ELV systems.
2. Managing small projects related to electrical systems infrastructure.
3. Assisting in the design review, site acceptance and installation of electrical equipment.
4. Preparing and maintaining electrical drawings and related documentation.
5. Designing and specifying cGMP E&I equipment and process controls.
6. Managing electrical systems residing on the business IT network.
7. Supporting the validation department by preparing design documents and assisting in protocol execution.
8. Assisting in investigations of equipment and control system anomalies, incl. power quality events.
9. Preparing engineering evaluations for and executing modification change control documentation.
10. Supervising electrical contractors and confirming works are to the required standard.
11. Preparing risk assessments, method statements and all aspects relating to Health and Safety on site.
12. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment by enforcing procedures, policies, and regulations.
13. Maintaining company reputation by enforcing compliance with all relevant laws, policies and regulations.
Requirements:
* Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering.
* 4+ years' experience.
