The Role
You will play a key role in the preparation and review of audited and unaudited financial statements for alternative fund clients. You'll work closely with auditors, clients, and internal teams to deliver accurate, timely reporting and support the continuing development of this newly established team.
Key responsibilities include:
* Preparing and reviewing financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow, Notes, etc.) for PE/RE funds.
* Managing fund audits and handling auditor/client queries under tight deadlines.
* Applying INREV adjustments and ensuring compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
* Creating financial statement templates for new clients and supporting operating procedure development.
* Liaising with depositary, valuations, and other stakeholders to ensure accuracy.
* Supporting ad hoc projects and implementing effective controls and processes.
About You
We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running:
* Financial reporting or fund accounting (with FS Statement Prep) experience, with a strong track record in financial statement prep and audit management.
* Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (
ACA / ACCA / CIMA
).
* Strong technical knowledge of investment funds, and financial instruments.
* Advanced Excel, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Organised and client-focused.
