About the Job:
Are you ready to be an integral part of our team? As an Accommodation Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guest rooms are always at their best, creating a welcoming and comfortable experience for our guests. Working closely with the wider Accommodation team, you'll help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction.
In this hands-on role, your primary focus will be on ensuring that all guest rooms are prepared and maintained to perfection. This includes making sure the rooms are clean, well-stocked, and ready for new arrivals. You will also be responsible from time to time for portering duties such as replenishing linen, ensuring the proper flow of items to and from guest rooms, assisting with the delivery of clean linen to the accommodation areas and looking after the cleanliness of public areas.
This dynamic role requires attention to detail, the ability to work well in a team, and a passion for delivering excellent service to ensure a positive guest experience.

Key Responsibilities (non conclusive list)
* Clean and prepare guest rooms, ensuring they meet cleanliness standards.
* Replace linens, towels, and restock amenities.
* Dust, vacuum, and sanitise rooms and bathrooms.
* Empty bins and remove trash.
* Report any maintenance or damage issues.
* Maintain cleanliness in corridors and public areas as required.
* Assist with linen deliveries and exchanges.
* Follow health, safety, and hygiene protocols.
* Respond to guest requests promptly.
Candidate Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar accommodation or housekeeping role, ideally in a hotel or hospitality setting.
* Ability to work efficiently and maintain high standards of cleanliness and service in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication skills to work effectively with colleagues and guests.
* Physical stamina for the handling of the manual aspects of the role, including lifting linen bags, pushing / pulling trolleys, moving furniture, dusting, hoovering, mopping, bending, stretching and scrubbing to maintain cleanliness across the property.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks in a timely manner.
* Strong organisational skills to manage daily tasks and responsibilities, ensuring nothing is overlooked.
* Adherence to health and safety standards, particularly within the hospitality industry.
* Proactive approach to problem-solving and willingness to take on additional duties as needed.
* Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends, and holidays.
* Customer-focused attitude, with a commitment to ensuring guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
* Attention to detail to ensure that all areas of the hotel, including guest rooms and public spaces, are maintained to the highest standards.
* Strong team player, with a positive, can-do attitude, and the ability to collaborate with various departments.
