About the Company
My client is seeking a Foreman for an exciting commercial development in County Meath; this is a brand-new project that has came through and they need to get someone in who can manage the end-to-end construction process.
There's 10 months on this job but more work in the Meath / North Dublin area thereafter for the right person
They specialise in commercial and government contracts valued up to €5M and have a very steady order book for ***********.
The Role
Coordination and supervision of the construction of commercial project.
Act as a point of contact for direct staff, subcontractors, clients and design team.
Report into and support the Project Manager
Oversee and manage manpower on site including, direct staff and subcontractors.
Oversee the procurement of materials and ensure that site requirements are met without exceeding budget.
Managing sub-contractors, trades and personnel on site to ensure that productivity levels are high and works are completed on time and within budget.
Ensure that company policies including H&S policies are adhered to on site.
Requirements
A Degree in Construction Management or Trade Background
A minimum of 5 years proven experience in a similar role with a construction company in ROI
Experience working with a Main Contractor is essential.
