Are you an experienced bid professional who thrives on strategy, structure, and shaping new ways of working? Do you want the opportunity to make a newly created role your own and help transform how we deliver bids at APEM?
We're looking for a Bid Manager to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for this role to extend as we refine and embed our bid model in Ireland. This is a pivotal opportunity to contribute to a pilot programme that will shape the future of bidding across the Group, enhancing quality, consistency and win rate.
You'll manage bids end-to-end for Ireland-based opportunities while also leading on a series of strategic projects, including the creation of a bid library, evaluation of pricing models and the implementation of improved bid governance processes. The scope of this role means you'll not only deliver high-quality submissions but also drive change, pilot new approaches and directly influence how APEM positions itself in Ireland's competitive market.
What we're looking for You'll need to bring:
* Proven experience managing and writing bids in a complex, deadline-driven environment
* Strong writing and editing skills across technical and non-technical content
* Familiarity with bid governance, compliance, and qualification frameworks
* Excellent organisational and project management abilities
* Confidence in working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities
* Strategic thinking, with a process improvement mindset
It's a bonus if you have:
* APMP certification (or equivalent)
* Experience in environmental consultancy or professional services
* Knowledge of the Irish procurement landscape
* Familiarity with BANT methodology or other bid strategy frameworks
