The Role
As Senior Accountant, you’ll take responsibility for a portfolio of clients, working closely with managers and partners to deliver high-quality accounting and advisory services. Your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders.
* Preparing management accounts and supporting clients with financial reporting.
* Drafting corporation tax computations and assisting with personal tax compliance.
* Reviewing the work of junior colleagues and providing guidance and training.
* Liaising directly with clients to resolve queries and provide tailored advice.
* Supporting managers and partners on more complex assignments and advisory projects.
* Ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining high technical and service standards.
About You
The successful candidate will:
* Be ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with strong practice experience.
* Have a solid technical grounding in accounts preparation and tax compliance.
* Be confident in reviewing the work of junior colleagues and supporting their development.
* Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
* Be proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple assignments effectively.
* Show ambition and enthusiasm for continued professional growth.
