About the Role
As Banqueting Head Chef, you will oversee all aspects of our banqueting kitchen operations – from menu planning to food preparation and service. You'll lead a dedicated team to deliver high-volume, high-quality food for events that make lasting impressions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the banqueting kitchen team in delivering consistently excellent food.
Plan, prepare, and present dishes for events including weddings, conferences, and private functions.
Collaborate with the Events and F&B teams to design bespoke menus tailored to each occasion.
Ensure food safety and HACCP standards are maintained at all times.
Monitor stock levels, control costs and minimize waste.
Train, mentor and develop junior chefs within the kitchen team.
What We’re Looking For
5+ years’ experience in a senior chef role, ideally with a strong banqueting or large-scale catering background.
Formal culinary qualifications.
A proven track record in managing a busy kitchen and team.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
A passion for delivering high-quality, creative food at scale.
