Dublin North - Hybrid with 3 days per week onsite
This role acts as the primary interface between the Cyber Security Project Team and the IT Operations function, with a strong focus on delivering security-driven infrastructure projects and architectural change. The position is responsible for the design, planning, analysis, and implementation of strategic security initiatives that enhance the organisation’s security posture while ensuring alignment with existing infrastructure standards and operational requirements.
Experience:
More than 5 years’ Senior experience in Microsoft technologies working in a large enterprise environment
Skills:
MCSA, MCP and/or CCNA certified
Expert knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy
Excellent knowledge of network protocols and concepts
Excellent knowledge of backup solutions and principles, NetBackup experience a bonus
Excellent Windows client OS skills – Windows 11.
Virtual platform (VMware) and storage technology experience (not essential but desirable)
Proven analytical and problem resolution skills and methodologies
Ability to work on own initiative and work well within a team
Good team player with good communication skills at all levels of seniority
Good organizational, administrative & documentation skills
Proven experience is working under strict process control methodologies, e.g. ITIL
Proficiency with automation tools (Python, Ansible, REST APIs). (not essential but desirable)
Formal Education Qualifications
A third level qualification in IT or suitable experience
Mandatory Practicing/Training/Compliance Certification
Comp TIA Security+, Microsoft Certified Information Security Administrator Associate. With a focus on Microsoft 365, and Azure.
