Role: Scheduler (Construction Industry) Location: Carlow Job Type : Permanent - Full time Salary: €Negotiable D.O.E Description Due to increase demand our Client is looking for a Scheduler, responsible for the effective coordination and scheduling of service and maintenance activities within the construction industry.
This role ensures that all engineers are efficiently deployed, client requirements are met, and reactive and planned works are delivered in a timely and professional manner.
Responsibilities Schedule and assign planned and reactive service and maintenance works to mechanical and electrical personnel.
Act as the first point of contact for client service requests, including receiving and logging reactive callouts.
Prioritise reactive and emergency works in line with contractual obligations and operational requirements.
Liaise with clients to confirm attendance dates and times, ensuring clear and professional communication at all times.
Coordinate daily and weekly work schedules, taking account of resource availability, site access, and travel requirements.
Maintain accurate service records, job logs, and scheduling information using company systems.
Communicate effectively with field-based teams to ensure they are fully briefed on job requirements and site details.
Monitor progress of works and adjust schedules as required to respond to changing priorities.
Support the Service Manager with reporting, workload planning, and general administrative duties within the department.
