We are hiring Staff Nurse - Anaesthetics into our Hospital in Dublin, Ireland.
Responsibilities
* Will contribute as an effective member of a multidisciplinary team.
* Will facilitate and provide quality patient care by effectively and efficiently managing available time and resources, displaying professional leadership and clinical competence. Will improve existing nursing practice in compliance with the NMBI recommendations.
* As a Staff Nurse in Anaesthetics, you will participate in continuing professional development within the department to meet current and future service demands and innovations in anaesthetic nursing.
* The Staff Nurse will communicate with the Clinical Coordinator and give assistance as needed.
* The Staff Nurse in Anaesthetics will manage day-to-day operational requirements and work closely with members of other departments.
* Responsibility for guaranteeing the operation of safe equipment and appropriate supplies in an effectively organised manner.
* During the shift, communicate with the appropriate Clinical Coordinator as needed.
* Proven ability to delegate tasks and responsibilities.
* Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to improve patient outcomes and achieve unit-specific goals.
* Maintain department-specific internal controls.
Requirements
* NMBI Registered General Nurse license.
* BLS & ACLS certification.
* Minimum one year post-registration experience in an acute hospital setting, preferably in Anaesthetics.
* A management course is desirable.
* Proven clinical ability and communication skills.
