The purpose of this role:
Assist in implementing a clinical laboratory service that supports the clinical needs of patients.
Qualifications:
* NFQ Level 9 postgraduate qualification or equivalent at minimum Level 9.
* Minimum 4 years post-qualification experience in a Medical Laboratory.
* Registered with CORU on the Medical Scientists Register.
Salary & Contract:
* Salary from €60,000 - €81,000 per annum, based on experience.
* Permanent, full-time contracts.
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for all technical/scientific aspects of the Department's work.
* Participate in ensuring the Quality Management System of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine conforms to ISO standards for Medical Laboratories.
* Perform routine, specialised, and research/development work to high professional standards as determined by Laboratory Management.
