We have an exciting opportunity to join our Capital Projects team at GE HealthCare. As the Capital Projects Graduate, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation of engineering projects. You will work with a cross-functional team to support and deliver site projects such as process improvement, equipment qualification and capacity expansion.

You’ll work with competent and motivated professionals, be managed and supported by a team that values your skill and commitment and be rewarded financially for your efforts. As a GEHC graduate you will assume full responsibility and contribute as a functional professional. You will learn from, work with and network with GE Healthcare Professionals from all segments across the company and report to the Lead Project Engineer.

GE HealthCare Cork researches, manufactures and markets innovative imaging agents used during medical scanning procedures to highlight organs, tissue and functions inside the human body, to aid physicians in the early detection, diagnosis and management of disease. We are a fully accredited and licensed by the FDA as an approved pharmaceutical site.

The graduate position will ensure a rotation of responsibilities to ensure that the candidate develops a broad range of experience.

Responsibilities may include but not limited to the following:

* Assist the project controls program (Planning and Cost Control)
* Implement the project sourcing and contracting strategies to secure the best commercial terms in accordance with the approved budget and baseline schedule.
* Ensures budgets and baseline schedule key milestone dates and procedures are updated, maintained and communicated in a timely manner, throughout the sourcing period for the project;
* Manages and maintains documentation throughout the life of the project and communicates the status of sourcing deliverables.
* Interface with other project discipline leads, functions and business units and attend all applicable project review and coordination meetings with the project team and stakeholders;
* Facilitates and supports claim/dispute resolution with a Supplier.
* Attends and participates in contract negotiations and change management meetings;
* Coordinate and meet with project teams to discuss requirements and constraint issues.
* Assist in the set up and management of the maintenance program for all utilities, production and packaging equipment
* Prepare preliminary project reports and update daily activities for management review.
* Report / present out on project updates as required.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

* Professional degree level qualification required
* Candidates must have a minimum of 2.1 Grade in their degree course.
* Strong academic performance and extracurricular achievement.
* GMP Manufacturing experience desirable
* Experience working in an interdisciplinary environment
