CSA Lead – Pharmaceutical Construction Projects – CorkJob Type:12-month contractOur client, a leading multinational engineering consultancy, is seeking an experienced CSA Lead to join their construction management team in Cork. This role focuses on overseeing the Civil, Structural, and Architectural delivery of major pharmaceutical construction projects, ensuring successful execution on site and alignment with project goals.As the CSA Lead, you will be responsible for the management and coordination of all CSA construction activities across large-scale pharma projects. Working directly on site, you will provide leadership across contractors, manage interfaces between disciplines, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and drive the project towards successful delivery.You will act as a key site-based representative, supporting the overall construction management team while ensuring that CSA packages are executed efficiently, safely, and in line with scope and schedule.ResponsibilitiesOversee all CSA construction activities across pharmaceutical project sitesManage civil, structural, and architectural contractors and ensure adherence to project specificationsCoordinate interfaces with M&E, process, and project management teamsMonitor construction progress, schedules, and site deliverablesEnsure compliance with safety procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirementsReview and approve site documentation, method statements, permits, and inspection reportsAddress site issues proactively, escalating where required to ensure timely resolutionConduct regular site walks, inspections, and progress meetingsSupport project controls, reporting, and stakeholder communicationsProvide leadership and direction to CSA supervisory staff and subcontractorsRequirementsDegree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline8+ years' experience in CSA construction roles, ideally within pharma or advanced manufacturingStrong background in managing contractors and site-based CSA activitiesExcellent knowledge of Irish construction regulations, safety standards, and compliance frameworksStrong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to coordinate multiple workstreams in a fast-paced construction environmentExperience working with multinational consultancy or EPCM organisations is an advantageRobust problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to site challenges
