The ideal candidate is self-motivated with excellent communication skills and a passion to apply professional experience in a collaborative, technically challenging environment.ResponsibilitiesDevelop Piping & Instrument Diagrams (P&ID) following ANSI/ISA S5.1 symbology.Perform panel design, including panel layout and wiring diagrams.Manage demanding schedules, prepare accurate reports, and demonstrate strong communication skills.Be accountable for delivering design work on state-of-the-art structures within Advanced Facilities and collaborating with a multi-discipline team across projects.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in an engineering subjectAt least 8 years of Instrument & Controls (I&C) design experienceExperience using Revit or AutoCADAble to navigate NavisworksIdeally, you’ll also have Working knowledge of PLC, DCS, and other controls applicationsPiping & Instrument Diagram Development (P&ID) including ANSI/ISA S5.1 symbologyKnowledge of control systems architecture development, network security systems, motor control and power distribution systemsInterpret varied instrumentation and engineering diagrams, specifications and schematicsControl panel design. Knowledge of UL508A requirements for industrial control panelsKnowledge of instrumentation including temperature, pressure, flow, and analytical instrumentation.
