Role Overview:
As a General Operative, you'll be an essential part of the operations team, helping to process incoming and outgoing IT equipment, electronics, and batteries. You'll work hands-on across multiple departments — from disassembly and sorting to labelling, scanning, and supporting warehouse activities.
This is a physical, fast-moving role that's perfect for someone with great attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a passion for doing things right.
Key Responsibilities:
* Unload, sort, and log incoming IT and electronic assets using in-house systems and scanners
* Support recycling, disassembly, and testing processes on laptops, desktops, servers, and other equipment
* Ensure items are safely and correctly categorised for reuse, resale, or recycling
* Label, scan, and track assets to maintain data accuracy and traceability
* Assist with pallet building, wrapping, stock movement, and general warehouse upkeep
* Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times
* Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient work environment
* Support other departments as needed to meet daily operational goals
What You'll Bring
* Previous experience in a warehouse, production, or logistics role is an advantage — but full training is provided
* Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
* Good attention to detail and ability to follow processes
* Basic computer or scanning device skills, or a willingness to learn
* Strong work ethic, team spirit, and a reliable attitude
* Willingness to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
What We Offer
* A full-time, stable role with structured hours
* Competitive hourly wage and benefits
* On-the-job training and opportunities to develop new skills
* A welcoming, supportive team environment
* The chance to be part of a company making a real difference in sustainability and circular tech
