Finance Business Partner Operations – Fixed Term
Our Client is currently seeking to recruit a Finance Business Partner Operations. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer you will be joining a company with strong established businesses in both Ireland & UK with expanding international opportunities. This is a 12-month contract.
Responsibilities:
Responsibility for the preparation of monthly management accounts as they pertain to this role along with associated areas of responsibility:
Absorption Costing.
Monthly maintenance of the fixed asset register.
Responsibility for correct recording of revenue & cost of sales.
Financial Planning and Analysis: Working as part of the business team to deliver financial planning process, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling on a quarterly, and annual basis.
Has the ability to clearly present financial reports to Senior Management of the business.
Work across the different business units to acquire the necessary knowledge of systems and processes to be able to carry out financial accounts work.
Participate in projects as required.
Collaborate with Senior Business Management to create budgets and track key performance indicators.
Meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
Knows and adheres to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Ensures the accuracy of the costings used for pricing.
Can describe and discuss the financial processes within the ERP and to recommend changes as required.
Compliance with the code of conduct and confidentiality rules.
Any other tasks as requested by the CFO, that might arise in the course of the business.
Education and Experience Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA or equivalent.
3. Must have minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, with an understanding of Bill of Materials, Absorption/Standard Costing.
4. Proven track record of success in senior financial roles, preferably within a manufacturing industry.
5. Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
6. Demonstrated expertise in financial planning and analysis, financial reporting.
7. Has experience in process improvement projects and managing change.
This role is office-based role initially 5 days and following a settling in period hybrid working is available, 3 days in the office ( Mon Wed & Fri) and 2 days at home (Tue & Thurs).
