Job Title: IT Support Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized IT Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
The IT Support Specialist will also be responsible for maintaining computer hardware, networks, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment. This includes conducting regular hardware upgrades and replacements as necessary, ensuring the proper licensing and compliance of software used within the manufacturing site.
In addition, the IT Support Specialist will assist in managing and troubleshooting local area network (LAN) and wireless network issues. They will collaborate with the IT team to maintain network security and data integrity, configuring and troubleshooting network issues with knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical assistance and support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues
* Maintain computer hardware, networks, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment
* Conduct regular hardware upgrades and replacements as necessary
* Ensure the proper licensing and compliance of software used within the manufacturing site
* Assist in managing and troubleshooting LAN and wireless network issues
Requirements:
* IT related qualification and/or 3 years' experience in an IT administration role
* Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and presentation skills
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
* Well-organized with good time management and the ability to multitask under pressure
