Ryanair are currently recruiting for an Airport Systems Analyst to join Europe’s Largest Airline Group. This 12‑month temporary position is based in Woodford, Santry and offers the opportunity to work within our greater operations, travelling between our bases and working in different airports. Standard office hours apply but working irregular hours is a condition of your employment. Shift times and patterns may be changed, subject to operational requirements.
The ideal candidate would have strong analytical skills and be able to work on their own initiative.
Responsibilities
Managing the deployment, upgrades & support of the Ryanair DCS & Self Bagdrop Solutions across the Ryanair Group Network
Supporting new site/DCS/self bagdrop go‑lives at airports/bases, both onsite and remotely.
Liaising with Common Use system providers across the Ryanair Group Network regarding new installs, changes/upgrades to existing solutions & support issues, incl. but not limited to SITA, ARINC, RESA, Amadeus & Flight Solutions.
User Acceptance Testing for all new installs, upgrades and changes to Reservations, DCS and Operational systems, incl. but not limited to Newskies applications, Website, Mobile App, Self Bagdrop kiosks & Government Security Messaging
Developing & testing all required changes with system providers when business rules change (both internally with Ryanair Labs/Navitaire and externally with 3rd party Common Use & Self Bagdrop providers)
Supporting airports/handlers to troubleshoot any DCS/Self Bagdrop related issues, including travelling to site as required.
Supporting Regional Managers with troubleshooting/investigating any DCS/Self Bagdrop related issues/delays
Identifying IT requirements/enhancements for Ground Ops & preparation of use cases, test cases and test plans for identified solutions
Liaising with Ryanair Labs to develop these solutions as well as identifying and informing them of the impact of their new solutions or changes to solutions on the operation from a Ground Ops perspective
Liaising with the Ryanair Group Training department to co‑ordinate GoNow go‑lives as well as to create & update procedures for Ground Staff regarding DCS, LDCS and manual check‑in & boarding.
Requirements
Previous airport/aviation industry experience
Familiarity with Newskies applications: Skyspeed, GoNow, SkyReports etc.
Familiarity with Self Service Bagdrop Kiosks
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word & Excel
Excellent analytical skills
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Ability to work on own initiative
Ability to work in a high‑pressure environment, and to work to deadlines
