Qualified Accountant
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Professional to join our team.
As a Qualified Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements for a wide range of clients, ensuring compliance with Irish accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare accurate and timely financial statements for clients, including SMEs, sole traders, and partnerships.
* Manage and review VAT, PAYE, RCT, Corporation Tax, and Income Tax returns, ensuring all obligations are met.
* Provide expert tax planning advice to clients, helping them make informed decisions about their financial futures.
* Serve as a trusted advisor and main point of contact for clients, ensuring their compliance and financial reporting obligations are met.
* Handle queries and correspondence with Revenue, assist in audits, and ensure accurate and timely filing of all returns.
* Identify opportunities to improve accounting and tax workflows, enhancing overall practice efficiency and effectiveness.
Candidate Profile:
* Fully qualified ACA or ACCA certification is essential.
* A minimum of 3 years of experience in a practice environment, with hands-on experience in accounts preparation and tax compliance.
* Strong understanding of Irish tax laws and accounting standards, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant legislation.
* Proficient in accounting packages such as Surf Accounts, Sage, Xero, or similar software.
* Excellent interpersonal and client service skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
* Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
