We provide innovative ground engineering solutions for projects and clients, both within Ireland and internationally, adding value through technical excellence, creative thinking, and understanding client long-term objectives.We currently have a requirement for a graduate geotechnical engineer to join our Ground Engineering Team in Dublin. This permanent role offers long-term opportunities for career development and requires delivering innovative solutions that provide value to clients while meeting the highest technical standards. The candidate should also possess excellent communication skills and the ability to understand client requirements.As a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer at Arup, you willContribute to a wide variety of projects, both in Ireland and overseas, in field and office-based work under the supervision of senior staff.Plan, supervise and report on ground investigations.Design foundations, retaining structures, slope stability and earthworks for a range of building and infrastructure projects.Prepare specifications and reports.Communicate design solutions and advice to technical and non-technical audiences.Understand trends and best practices in the geotechnical industry and contribute to geotechnical research.Participate in local professional associations and begin working towards Chartership.Communicate effectively in written and verbal formats.Possible short-term assignments within Ireland and overseas.We are looking for graduates who meet the following requirements.Qualifications and requirementsCurrently pursuing a minimum honours bachelor’s degree in Civil, Geotechnical or Structural Engineering.
